# Monitor email performance with SendWhale Analytics

> View workspace-wide delivery, open, click, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe rates, and drill into per-campaign reports for detailed metrics.

The Analytics overview gives you a high-level picture of how your email program is performing across your entire workspace. Use it to spot trends, identify problem areas, and guide decisions about content, timing, and audience segmentation.

<Info>
  Analytics accuracy depends on your sending volume and the email clients your recipients use. Treat aggregate rates as directional signals rather than exact counts, especially for open rate data.
</Info>

## Available workspace-wide data

The Analytics overview surfaces aggregate metrics across all campaigns in your workspace:

* **Send volume** — total number of emails sent over a selected period
* **Delivery rate** — share of sent emails accepted by recipient mail servers
* **Open rate** — share of delivered emails that were opened (see privacy note below)
* **Click rate** — share of delivered emails with at least one link click
* **Bounce rate** — share of sent emails that could not be delivered
* **Complaint rate** — share of delivered emails reported as spam
* **Unsubscribe rate** — share of delivered emails that led to an unsubscribe

## Campaign-level reports

For a deeper look at any individual send, navigate to the campaign reports in the **Campaigns** section. Per-campaign reports break down metrics by send, let you compare campaigns over time, and surface which links received the most clicks.

## A note on open rate accuracy

Open rates are measured using a tracking pixel. Several email clients — most notably those protected by Apple Mail Privacy Protection — pre-fetch the tracking pixel regardless of whether the recipient actually opens the email. This inflates open rate figures for affected recipients. **Use click rate as a more reliable signal of genuine engagement** when making decisions based on Analytics data.

## No sample or placeholder data

All metrics in your Analytics dashboard reflect real sends from your workspace. No example or seed numbers are pre-populated. If your workspace has not yet sent campaigns, the dashboard will show empty or zero values until actual send data is available.

## Exporting analytics data

Download your analytics data for use in external spreadsheets or reporting tools. Use the export option available in the Analytics section to save a snapshot of your current metrics.
